Backyard Solutions is an eco-conscious initiative launched by a group of college students in Ghaziabad with a mission to combat the environmental harm caused by paper waste. The initiative focuses on recycling newspapers and magazines by collecting them directly from households and delivering them to paper manufacturers, reducing the need for fresh tree-cutting. With an emphasis on sustainability, Backyard Solutions aims to decrease methane emissions by ensuring paper waste is reused, contributing to a cleaner environment.

Objectives

  • Develop a memorable and impactful brand name and identity that reflects the environmental values of Backyard Solutions.
  • Create brand stationery and marketing collateral that are simple, eco-friendly, and relatable to both young people and households.
  • Launch a WhatsApp promotional campaign to raise awareness about recycling efforts and attract community participation.

MarkSerif crafted a brand identity for Backyard Solutions that was clean, approachable, and nature-centric. The name “Backyard Solutions” emphasized the community-driven, grassroots nature of the project, while the brand imagery echoed its environmental mission.
