WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT
Awakening India is a not-for-profit organization working towards the rehabilitation of jail inmates by addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. The NGO, run by a group of doctors from various fields, such as ENT, Cardiology, and Psychiatry, along with dedicated volunteers, is committed to transforming the lives of prisoners who often struggle with isolation, depression, addiction, and poor health. By providing holistic care, Awakening India empowers inmates to reintegrate into society as healthier, more confident individuals upon release.
Objectives
- Build a trustworthy and emotionally resonant brand identity that encourages public engagement and volunteer recruitment.
- Create a brand proposition and tagline that effectively communicates the NGO’s mission of “real justice” and rehabilitation.
- Develop a website with an intuitive user interface that inspires visitors to learn more, volunteer, or donate to the cause.
- Design brand stationery that reflects the NGO’s values of compassion, justice, and social responsibility.
Solution
MarkSerif developed a brand identity grounded in trust and justice, with a tagline that conveyed the transformative impact of rehabilitation. The visual identity was designed to be compassionate yet strong, symbolizing hope and renewal for the inmates. The web interface was developed to simplify the user journey, making it easy for people to learn about the cause, sign up as volunteers, and make donations. Through thoughtful design and impactful messaging, Awakening India is now able to connect with a broader audience, driving more support for the cause.
